What's the rectangular device on top the scope(1:52)?

That would be the Barrett BORS

And still in Army Ranger shape, seeing as it's no mean task to hold a 37 pound rifle steady at your shoulder, much less keep it steady enough for a thousand yard shot.

My CO in BCT was an E6 in the Rangers before going green to gold. That mo fo could hold a normal conversation while running a 7 minute mile.

the smart rifles coming out now put a end to any shooting skills needed to hit a target. As they get more popular, I bet they get regulated heavily.
