just picked one up a few hours ago.. no line.. no waiting.. well to get it from the back thre is no waiting .. the checkout there is worse than gander mountain bring a folding chair and maybe a snack or if you have your kids portable dvd player you could wach band of brothers.

The guys behind me used thief northern tool card and also got the member price of 163 each out the door

Not possible. I've been on the "notify" list for that item for 2 months. I think the guys working the counter set up their buddies, or they simply opened the cans to sell individually....or worse bought it all themselves. My buddy bought two cans Saturday night and was told there were 500 more left. They were closed Sunday and Monday, and now they're sold out? Yea right.

In the mean time, the item never showed up on their website and I was never notified of it's availability. Something is very fishy.

I'd call and ask someone in authority.
I've never been impressed with the retail side of SG. From the customer service I've received at the back counter, nothing would surprise me.

I was in the store at open this morning. Because I know also of folk who bought some on Sat and were also told there were 100s left.

Zero in inventory, 350 on back order.

Also, they were never listed as 'instock' under the online P/N for notify.
