Be careful buying some used or new guns.

My 1st thought after looking at that broken window is its an inside job (insurance fraud) Going through that jagged glass at that height then through iron bars........has to be some blood around there. I hope Im completly wrong.

Something does seem a bit off here. Hard to believe that the merchant would not harden it up a bit after the first break in, much less the second. I wonder if (the lack of)security practices become an issue with the insurance company?

I don't remember seeing bars when I was in there in August. Would figure after the first one something would have been done to bolster security.

The place was never robbed. It was burglarized.

If the bars on the windows are spaced wide enough for someone to get through they are poorly designed and I bet someone cut cost when they had them made. When I have made window bars it is to keep people out, not slow them down. If you look at the ones at Atomic Tactical there is no way a person can get through.

Do people use guard dogs anymore? A Doberman or two would be a good deterrent.

Someone went through that window without knocking out any of the rest of the glass shards first? Seems unlikely.

That is what I was thinking. There is glass on the bottom of the window. How did someone get through there?

Probably backed a car or truck right bumper up to the window and stepped in like nobody's business.

The window isn't that high up. After the July 2012 robbery the owner told me that it took police over a half hour to respond after the alarm was tripped. If I recall right.

This is true. I guess I should have fixed the title when I created the post. I just recycled the mistake made by the media.

Cube van. Right height, back it up there, hold a moving blanket in front of the window to muffle the noise when you knock it out, drop the blanket over the bottom of the hole to cover the sharp edges and nobody would see anything but the truck. And no security cameras inside or out at a gun store?
There are many like it, but this one is mine..

Hmmm, and why do you know so much about how to do this?
