Ammo at Bill's

Postby Kokeba07 on Thu Oct 04, 2012 12:19 pm

I am just curious does anybody know what Bill's is selling .45 ACP for. I am thinking of going to shoot tomorrow and just wondering where the best place to pick up some cheap range ammo is.

A range is never a good place for cheap ammo.

You have to use Bill's ammo if you are renting a gun there, and I believe they charge 23-25 for a 50 round pack. I dont shoot .45 ACP, so I dont know what the standard going rate is...but Wal-Mart is going to be cheaper. I can pretty much promise you that.

There's a fleet farm just north of Bills.

I've got Wednesday Nov 7 on my calendar for a trip to Bills......Election Celebration :)

Ammo at Bill's

Wal mart will be cheaper guaranteed, at least for Federal ammo. I'm pretty sure it's 22.95 for Mag tech at bills south right now. It varies though. I was looking at the sign two days ago. There's a new Walmart just up 100 by bills south, and fleet farm and Walmart near bills north.

depending on the quantity you are going to be shooting, its almost always worth the stop to buy the ammo elsewhere.

only shooting 50 rounds, then maybe not such a big margin.

say what you will against wally world, but when it comes to cheap ammo there aren't many that compete on a consistent basis.

I had a look at the Walmart ammo section today near me. TulAmmo 45ACP was $14.XX. I know it isn't the Walmart you're going to, but they seem to have mostly the same prices across their stores.

I agree with the others in this post--Wal-Mart or Fleet Farm. Both are near one another just north of Bill's South. You can see Fleet Farm off of 169 and County Rd. 81. It's on a frontage type road. Wal-Mart is just a light or so south on 81. I've had spotty luck at both of those places having ACP in any decent quantity, but thankfully they are right near each other so going to both isn't an out-of-the-way venture.
If you are reading this, there is a better than average chance that you are a d-bag.

I am 99% sure bills only allows brass cased ammo, so TulAmmo would be out of the question for OP.
