Point was he was gonna pull a hoot gibson with his six shooter, He removed 5 rounds leaving 1 to commit suicide with. His wife would've handled a empty revolver. He lacked any control over his life and body anymore.

Hoot Gibson was a actor back in the 30's he offed himself.

Looked like a j-frame revo to me. So there were only five rounds to begin with.

I don't think the point was that he was gonna off himself. But that he knew he was gonna die of fluid in his lungs er whatnot.

Open your mind up guys and re-watch it after you read below.

He thought he was going to die, so he starts unloading the gun. As he is doing this his wife awakes and together they are "both staring at the edge together" she passes away at that moment.

It ends by saying "he is still here" but does not mention her still being here.

So you are thrown for a hidden twist with a heavy dose of irony.

A loaded gun (very short video)

Where did this come from?

And I dont buy it, she didn't die. He was on the ledge, she came and saved him and now they're both alive. They say "he is still here" because that's the only pronoun that makes sense.
