For a VERY solid collapsible, the ACE SOCOM stock is hard to beat. You cannot tell you're shooting a collapsible when firing, handling, or carrying on a 3pt sling.

of course, at $200, it better be solid:

Magpuls are more solid and give a far superior cheek-weld. I've never tried a Sully Stock, but I don't see what the advantage is.

How so? From the looks of it the magpul, like the ACE, is simply a wrap around the buffer tube. What differentiates the cheekweld between the two?

As for the Sully stock, I have two on different rifles, and they are nice stocks. The weight of the stock makes the whole rifle balance more rearward which is nice for offsetting the forward weight. The fact that they're not adjustable means no rattles and legal for states where adjustables are not. (which fortunately MN is not one of).

I have no idea since I don't own one but the Magpul says "This stock features a unique locking mech that friction locks the stock to the buffer tube for zero movement."

We're ignoring the really important consideration though: which one will look better on my future safe queen

The two that I like though happen to be the two you guys are discussing though :)

The CTR is nice, but I was refering to the M93B or UBR. They use proprietary buffer tubes and are significantly wider than most other stocks, colapsible or not. They give better a cheek weld than an even an A2 stock any day.
