+1 on talking to management.

If you find a public shooting facility with indoor ranges, rock bottom ammo prices, rentals, unbelievable customer service, rock bottom firearm prices, free targets, cheap lane fees, and supermodel RO's, ALL AT THE SAME TIME.....................You are actually dead and have gone to another place. ;)

You can only have so many things and stay in business. Bills does a great job in customer service, or at least striving for it, so let them know where they are slipping and they will do their best to rectify. :D

Just as a point, after days of calling and leaving voicemails last week, I did not recieve a call, why on earth would I think calling would work. as they wouldnt call me I struck out to get their attention, which it appears i have.

per another comment, my posts have been deleted, my friends who surport me kindly did as I asked and posted for me, also I have posted on my own page.

i did think about a google review and a few others (yelp, bing, yahoo), its just another level.

lastly, bills had posted they attempted to contact me, I have not gotten no phone call from them that i know of.

The one time I had an issue with Bills, a short civil conversation with the manager had it handled very well and far better than I'd expected. By the sounds of it, the OP hasn't taken this route yet.

Knowing the folks that run the place I have a really hard time believing any issue would be handled any differently than my experience if addressed with the management in a rational fashion. Also, no offense to the op, but I'm pretty leery of anyone that signs up to an Internet forum just to bash a related business.
If you're reading this, there are better than even odds you are a d-bag.

ZeroGame- I fully believe everything you're saying. When I've had problems with a business I've googled the business name.

I look at the top results. If any of them are reviews by customer service type websites I sign up on the highest rated googled site and tell my story there.

I can't figure out why bills would just delete your comment of FB and not actually address it.

ZeroGame wrote:I spent days last week getting the run around and leaving voicemail with staff at bills shop and range. I was tring to set up a full auto rental for a buddies 40th bday. I had to turn the task to a buddy who after a boatload more calls got someone to help him. first they said all good at robinsdale but upon the return call we had to reshedule to circle pines, not a real biggie. so we get there and at first they were like what reservation, took them about 20 minutes to find out that we werent full of it. sure it worked out but I still never got a call back. so today I made a comment about poor customer service on their facebook page, instead of trying to find out what my complatint was, they deleted my comment. so I posted again, they deleted that too. after another post and delete they have blocked me.

needless to say, I wont be a customer at Bills again

other grippes prior to this:
always way overpriced (just bought a sig P238 for $560 with lazser elsewhere, bills was a 100 bucks more)
will lowball any trade you bring in
50 bucks to transfer, are you nuts!

...and another satisfied Bill's customer. I knew this would be a Bill's thread as soon as I saw the title.

I avoid them as much as possible, but occasionally get stuck shooting at Bill's North (rifle). Last year, I relented, and bought an old lever action rifle there. True to form, their staff treated me like crap from start to finish, and they had so little lever action rifle knowledge between them that I actually had to google the questions I had about it on my iPhone while I was waiting. They messed up the 4473, made me fill out a new form, and then got all bent out of shape and defensive when I pressed them on what it was they screwed up. Finally, they tried to make me sign a form stating "no warranty, expressed or implied", right after they told me the rifle I was purchasing had a 30-day warranty. When I questioned them on it, the manager came over, angrily swiped the form out from in front of my face, and said "fine, don't sign it".

I know I've said it before, but that WILL be the last time.

I agree with this. Social media has (IMHO) made it too easy to react instead of thinking through an issue. I despise facebook, although I do have an account with little to no information, and I check it about every 6 months.

[offtopic rant ] It seems every company now wants you to "like" them on facebook. I don't need the world to see what I "like". For some background, I'm not new to technology, I've been an IT professional for 30 years and have made a very good living at it. I'm well aware of the information google gathers and I can accept that, I just don't see the need to post "I just woke up and took a great dump" on facebook, nor do I care if others did  [/offtopic rant]

Bill's has some awful employees, some mediocre employees, and some truly spectacular employees. Find those in the latter category and deal with them exclusively. That's what I've been doing for years, and I can't say that I've had a negative experience there in as long as I can remember. In fact, I've seen more idiotic, rude customers there than employees.

Luckily, the employees who don't really know what they are doing, or who have attitude problems, don't stick around long. Same as most businesses, I suppose.

Bill's I have had great service, and not so great service. The not so great service issue was handled immediately, and professionally through both email and phone calls. While they are busy as all get out, you should be able to still get decent customer service, and have your issues satisfied if it wasn't. Unless your trying to bash them due to your dislike of them in the first place. FWIW, there are several Bills employees on here, and they do read posts routinely. Have you tried calling the manager to voice your complaints?
