That should be, "Although he prefers IDPA AND A 1911, we still let him in.

I thought the "blind stage" last night was "THE BEST" blind stage done at BPR ever, and as Skyrock said, I've been shooting there since "the old days". It caught me for a second, which is what blind stages are all about. I love them, but they are hard to score fairly in a real match.

My apologies, O Great One (rhymes with Oh Be Wahn...), I didn't look at the poster's name.

You need a PLASTIC 1911! :D

I think I (old guy, white vest) did your first time shooter's safety briefing and RO'd you through the blind stage. You did well, shot safe.

Yes, and you did a great job! Answered all my questions and gave great advice. I was not nearly as nervous as I thought I would be.

I will be back. I just hope my Thursday night pool team doesn't get mad at me.... :D

Thanks again!

Jerry

You did well, Jerry. Glad you had a good time.

Don't worry about the pool team. Bring them along next time and they'll see you've got your priorities right! :D

Actually there are a couple of shooter on my pool team who sounded interested. I stopped in to see them on the way home and since I couldn't get the smile off my face, they seemed interested in trying it. Plus if we car pool, the drive down from Blaine wouldn't be so bad.

Alright boys and girls I hope your ready for a true newbie tomorrow night. I will be showing up with the one and only center fire pistol I own. I figure you guys would laugh at me if I show up with my Buck Mark. I have never done anything like this before, heck I haven't even been shooting a year. I am nervous about it but really excited.

At least I won't be the only one shooting a glock.

I'll be making my first appearance as well. Maybe I'll shoot a Glock so I don't look out of place.

Ten is the limit, but you're not limited to Minor caliber as USPSA is.
