BPR usually has bags of 900 range pickup for about $50, and John-boy at GunStop has once fired in 500 pice lots for $55.

I would be happy to split a bag of Roger's brass (actually, I think it's Sue's brass) with you.... I need some too. :D

I've never had to pitch more than a dozen cases out of the lot, and I've probably bought 4 bags from them. I'd say worth it. I would call ahead first though, sometimes they are sitting on 10 bags of the stuff, other times they are out.

Don't misunderstand though.... This is range pickup. I only use it for low pressure blasting ammo, and shoot it till the cases split. If you're reaching for outer limits in an un-supported chamber, buy new.

Sadly, I looked through the garage and my office and all I can find is the bags of mixed brass. This means I probably already gifted it to someone else. Sorry gents. If it turns up, I'll let you know.

I've bought brass from BPR for a couple of years now and have had real good luck with it. It is mixed range brass, but like someone else said I've never had to pitch more than 5 out of any one bag. With .45 you're more likely to end up with several .40's mixed it. I just give those to my neighbor.

Also as Roger will tell you, it is Sue's brass. :)

I have a bunch. Just have to find it after my move (last year...). Probably a little more than 2k rounds.

I shall gift it to the first person who has something nice to say about the Democratic Party. ;)
