my brand list is fairly short, but I think I still like my Kimber Gold Match the best. The Automag in .30 carbine is also a fun one - you seem to feel the long slide action more, but I'm more accurate with the Kimber (but that may be due partly to a much lower round count on the AMT - that .30 carbine ammo is harder to come by! :o )

maybe we need a 1911 steel shoot to go along with the revolver shoot!?!? (but I may need more mags! ;) definitely need more of the .30 carbine mags, but they are also on the "harder to find" list!

I love my Dan Wesson Pointman Minor. It was 21st birthday present to myself and never regreted it. It shoots like a dream, very acurrate, and was only 500 dollars brand new.

Nice topic.

+1 on the .30 Automag. I still kick myself for trading it in. Alot.

Colt Commander in stainess steel. I've owned many other 45's but they're all gone now.

Overall I would have to say I like my SIG the best, its the one I almost always bring with me

This SIG replaced my TRP that I was less than impressed with, far better value in my book.

Pretty cool! You did such a good job with the aluminum color matching it almost looks fake ;)

If we're limited to guns we own/have owned, then I'd say Wilson Protector; however, Westberg's SV Infinity has my vote of best 1911 I've ever shot.

Definatly my Dan Wesson Razorback in 10mm.. close second is my Springfield Armory GI .45.. ((Only 1911's I've got (so far), so it's easy to rank them. :)

Probably one of two, the first is the rem-rand I got thru the mail, when I was a kid, and for a few weeks paperroute money and a post card mailed off to New Jersey, I got a box in mail a few weeks later with it in it.

The other would be my Colt Combat Commander 70 series. It was the first commander I bought and after carrying it for some 20 years, I feel nekkid without it.

The AMT long slide is a hoot to shoot and had such remorse after selling it went out and got another. ;). My fave has to be Precious, my Springfield long slide, Trophy Match. Liquid smooth and very accurate.
