Changing from 308 to 6.5CM on AR?

Do I have to change out the bolt head or do both use the same? Toying with the idea for now.

IIRC, both use the same shellholder for reloading, so I would assume the bolt face would be the same.

They are the exact same bolt.

Thanks folks. I figured it was looking at the specs of both. Just wanted to be sure. Didn't have any luck with 2 different bolt 6.5CM rifles. Tried all available heavier bullets and couldn't get it to group very well at 100 yards. Makes me leary to try in a AR platform.

If you have a good shooting .308 AR I would not bother switching.

Savage 10T and another savage I forgot what model. This was around 8 years ago. Tried reloading the top 3 weights from back then time frame. Tried different powders too. Could get anything to group good. Gave up. Me current Savage 10 FCP in 308 shoots cloverleafs at 100 yards with a 200 grain ELD-X. Already have 2 AR 10’s that shoot great. Figured I might change out my 3rd one.
