I'll probably go with the Vortex. I really like their optics.

Decision made on rifle: my wife surprised me (VERY MUCH) by copying my NFA instructor card from my wallet when I was sleeping, calling a mate who is a FFL and ordering the FN SPR A5M XP o .308 directly from FNH with the NRA instructor discount, all for Christmas morning. Now I really do have to think about optics!

I also have an A5M, it is very nice. You will probably want to adjust or modify the cheek riser and is can slip from the level you want. I currently have a pad underneath it to keep it at the same high. I sold the glass for it recently and am waiting to see if there are any new offerings coming out at SHOT show that will sway my mind on new glass. If you do go the route of the Harris bipod, I would suggest picking up the swivel model if you plan to be shooting without a bench rest. Enjoy the rifle.
