An event in St Paul this Saturday at Bethlehem Lutheran church. Saturday noon to 3pm. Blacksmithing demonstrations in 12:30-1:30pm and 2:30 pm. Where, House of Mercy parking lot436!Roy St St Paul. Blacksmith is bringing gun parts from a gun turn-in in Madison WI. The article in today’s Pioneer Press. With the new Minnesota law on transfers I wonder what the legal ramifications my be.

If it isn’t the receiver/frame, it isn’t a gun.

Besides, these anti gun folks are a protected class. Rules only apply to us untermenschen.

They shall beat their swords into ploughshares

The tribe that beats their swords into ploughshares will soon be plowing the fields of another tribe.

It's not original but undoubtedly true.

Converting 'Guns to Garden Tools' is entry level, rookie BS.

For a true demonstration of useful skills:
Extreme DIY: Man makes AKM from a shovel
Inspired by the thought of restrictions and ingenuity in less-than-ideal conditions, one man who -only went by “Boris” on the Northeast Shooters Forums- set out to make an AKM out of ashovel, one of the most available combinations of wood and steel around.

The results were…Surprising.

The idea to use a shovel came from a photo of a captured AKM that was seized during the War on Terror, presumably in Iraq. The rifle in question had a shovel handle for an improvised stock.

"It is better to be a warrior in a garden, than a gardener in a war." ― Miyamoto Musashi, The Book of Five Rings.
