13 shot - 2 fatally in Chicago since Monday

Two men were shot to death in less than half an hour within eight blocks of each other, and at least 11 other people were wounded in shootings citywide since Monday morning, police said.

A 37-year-old man was killed on the porch of a graystone two-flat in East Garfield Park at about 9:30 p.m. Monday in a shooting that also injured a 34-year-old woman.

From reading the police accounts, they make not a single mention of any of these shootings being random. Furthermore, most if not all are certainly gang/drug/prostitution related. As insensitive as Lepotmane's remark may have been received by you, others agree with the implied sentiment that no tears are going to be shed for the predators among us who are gunned down by other predators.
