For me, it's all cases, unless the student specifically says otherwise. I am sure you never meant to imply anything else, right?

Nope, what I said. The reason I said most cases instead all, someone would have dug up the post on the other forum about the Mankato official that was arrested in front of his house waiving a gun around and had a Minnesota permit to carry. Yep, I fessed up in that thread and said it was one of my students, which is what I stated, who took my class. So I could not say all, that would be fibbing. ;)

You know what happens when you assume, right?

Am I assuming, or simply stating an opinion bases on an observation. :?

You're assuming, clearly, because you falsely implied that I ever have or ever would ever post a student's identity without their permission. I have not and will not do that.

When students themselves post that they've taken my class, however, I do feel free to point other users toward those endorsement -- especially when they says nice things. I've been fortunate to have a number of students join the forums who had a good experience and were eager to mention it.

Offering a class to a public figure? That's no secret.

No, never did, just stated a fact and what I said was -
cobb wrote:If he does decide to get a permit to carry, he may go someplace else for training since he may not want his name splashed all over some forum.

Public figure or not, some things he may still want to be kept quite.

and I was referring to this -
Andrew Rothman wrote:Yeah, I did offer a class to him.

Dear Representative Dominguez,

I am sorry to hear of your recent armed robbery, and I'm relieved that you emerged unscathed. As you are no doubt aware, we can become targets of crime when And where we least expect it.

If you are interested, I would be happy to arrange a mutually convenient time for a Minnesota Permit to Carry class. Although I often offer these classes to victims of violent crime at no charge, I would understand if you felt more comfortable, given Minn. Stat. 609.42, paying the standard fee.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best,

Which is just a splash from this link - http://andrew-rothman.livejournal.com/8939.html

So I never falsely implied anything, just an observation that he may go elsewhere because he may not want people to know that he is getting training and a permit to carry. As far as splashing his name all over some forums about the subject, well I guess we can see it is too late for that.

Him being a lib will obtain a gun in a dark alley, sold by a drunken ex military type with a high and tight. The gun will be a 44 magnum snubby.

Wait, I saw that in a movie!

Isn't this what he's always advocated, stealing from the "rich" to give to the "poor?" I guess he's only a fan of wealth redistribution when it's other peoples' wealth being forcefully redistributed.

What we really need is to double the funding for law enforcement personnel. If we had more revenue agent’s, I mean officers, they could patrol more instead of writing speeding tickets, and none of this would happen. All it takes is MORE MONEY!!

I'd be looking to find Gov. Schwarzenegger on the grassy knoll. He has that kind of clout.
