And I see how well that worked out for them - but
This is a horrible, horrible thing that was not preventable - and I am sitting here gnashing my teeth - let's be clear here:
THE BODIES OF THE VICTIMS ARE NOT EVEN IN THE GROUND YET AND THE RHETORIC HAS BEGUN - FROM BOTH SIDES. This is not a 2A issue - this is a mental health issue. I love the people that say "There should be a law" - well Scooter - there are laws and the last time that I checked Harming another was a crime and there are several laws regarding that issue - seems to me that doesn't work.
It's not about the gun - it's not about if there were someone in the theatre with a pistol things would have been different - BS This guy was armed for bear - he was determined, he was capable, he was immediately on the offensive.
I am so sick of people saying "If there were an armed citizen there...." B as in B; S as in S. Now is just not the time for I told you so, second guessing or anything of the sort.
I am disgusted by this whole thing from both sides and no matter how much I hate to say it - the President has been well, actually presidential with this matter for now. This is not the time to make political hay on either side.
I am ashamed of anyone discussing this as a political issue and not a human tragedy.
