Lanie loves to be loved and it's just that simple! Life to Lanie means spending all her time showering her Foster Mom, Dad and canine foster siblings with as much love as she can possibly give. This sweet 35 lb mixed up mutt wants nothing more then to finally have a home to call her very own. Lanie was rescued from a high-kill shelter, where she was absolutely terrified. Lanie was confused and spent most of her time shaking in her kennel at the shelter, not understanding how she could of ended up where she did. It didn't take long for the rescue workers to outreach to other rescue groups to try and save her because they knew just how special she was. Now that Lanie is in a foster home where she can show off her true self, she spends most of her time being her foster Mom's shadow or racing around the house or yard with her two canine foster siblings. Lanie likes to play a game with her foster Mom where she tries to anticipate which room she's going to next in hopes she can beat her there and snag an extra hug! Lanie would do best in a home where someone is around more often then not as she thrives when her people are around. She would also do well with another canine companion who likes to play. Lanie ignores the cats in her foster home and is very respectful of them. She would do best in a home with no small kids, but would love a home with older ones who can shower her with even more attention. This girl has been through a lot, but she reminds us everyday of how happy we are that she has been given the second chance.
