It shows there are at least 25 people registered here that have some fundamental issues with the second amendment.

Given the poll allows 9 votes, it may be as few as 5.

Given the uniformity of the responses and the rediculousness of the question on this forum, I suspect it is just a joke and not a serious poll. This should be moved to the lighter side. Just my thoughts.

POLL and POST are stupid in a way - we gun-rights people wonder why we even need to ask these options - the fact that many picked the"Yes" options, has to point out that anti-gunners are "Members" of this Forum, which enforces why we need to be diligent in the statements we make here, especially statements that may affect our gun rights.

This poll was in reference to a thread that got out of hand and required the Moderators to step in and get back on-topic.

Please don't make blatant statements, that mimic the anti-gunners platform, on this Forum - it will be used against us!

The "fact" that someone answered yes to any of these questions could be for any number of reasons. If could be for someone to "show" that there are anti's on the forum, or it could be that someone is trying to stir up controversy for fun, or it could be honest and true as you infer. We do not know. I do not see how my statement is blatant or mimic's an anti-gun platform. In fact one could argue that this poll itself provides anti gun fodder.

I don't see an option for:

* We should never have stopped our traditional practice of allowing every service member leaving active duty to take his personal weapon home with him, and to make up for that we should retroactively issue every veteran with a military weapon of current manufacture.

Or:

* Given that every able-bodied male not on active service is a member of the militia, the government should not only allow private citizens to own military-style weapons, it should encourage it with discounts and subsidies.
