This is a reminder of why I agree with having a training requirement rather than allowing any bozo to carry a gun. It's a right my behind, this guy should not carry. There will still be some that make it through but if they can catch a few..................

The Tex video was interesting, as I use the same holster in 3gun with the index finger release for my Beretta 92fs. Difference is I have not used any other type of release system, as my IWB and my other OWB holsters have no release. So when I draw, my index finger naturally falls against the gun, not into the trigger area (I do practice this with it unloaded, safety block in chamber). But he is extremely lucky that he is alive, a slightly different bullet path and it would've severed his Femoral artery. Not much time before you'd bleed out there.

Plus this yahoo hasn't given much thought to his own safety, if he's making his stand right beside his truck near the fill door. Seeing as the smallest static spark can set off those gas vapors, I would imagine the muzzle blast from a pistol would really do the job. Then the fire goes down the tank pipe, and it's pretty much all over except the ME having to use dental records to ID the charred corpse.

Did anyone else notice his grip? He puts his support hand trigger finger on the front of the trigger guard. I don’t know of any trainer that recommends a grip like that.

That and he isn't choking his hand up his grip enough, I'm guessing he has a problem with limp wristing.

i'll retract my previous statement. this happened to me, just a few hours ago, when i was approached by a shady guy and yelled "DON'T YOU TRY TO ROB ME, BUDDY!"
it WORKED! he didn't rob me! he may have called the cops about a whack job at Holiday in BP driving a crappy pile-o-Chevy, standing at the pump, twitching with excitement about the prospect of using his new tactic. i'm not sure

When Nutnfancy started out on youtube he knew absolutely nothing about firearms. I think he deleted a lot of his earlier review videos.

I know a couple of guys like this, it makes me sad that stupid is becoming more common. I'm not sure I'll be telling the guy at pump 6 that his brake light is out anymore. He might just have a cool badge on his holster.
