Reloading Stuff / I could use some opinions

Postby gunflint on Sat Mar 14, 2009 11:22 pm

I will be selling some reloading stuff at a swap meet next month. I've been out of it for a while so I'm not sure what prices to ask. Here's what I'll be selling.
RCBS Rock Chucker
Rcbs 304 scale (this is the hyper accurate beam scale)
RCBS powder dump.
RCBS .41 Mag dies
A few hundred rounds of .41 mag brass
2000 rounds of once fire .40 brass.
Old belt style tumbler.
3/4 of a can of Hogdons 110.
Several packs of large pistol primers.

I'd like to sell the RCBS stuff as a unit. Is $200 to much?
What's the brass worth now days?

I'd sell it here but it's a long drive to the cities, although I'll be heading down to Champlin in early April in case anyone is interested.

Unfortunately it's not worth much (trying to keep a straight face). That said, I'd take the .40 brass, Hogdon 110 and primers off your hands.

Seriously, I'd be interested in those items. Name your price, we could go from there.
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Put a price on the Rock Chucker and I may jump on a little something too. 8-)

Brass may be worth anywhere between 2, 3 or 4 cents @.Make sure you polish it; sells faster.

IF you are going to break this package up,
and if mnglocker doesn't take the Rock Chucker,
I would take the following as a package, given that you PM me a price that we can agree on:

RCBS Rock Chucker
Rcbs 304 scale (this is the hyper accurate beam scale)
RCBS powder dump.
Old belt style tumbler.

:hmm:

I've got an email sent to hammAr. After I hear from him I'll respond to everyone's pm's. Thanks guys I really didn't expect the responses I am getting. I would rather sell the stuff here then to a stranger at a swap meet.

Typical... Right in the middle of negotiations my computer crashed. By the way, do you know how much a new computer cost? Exactly the same amount as a new trolling motor. God does have a sense of humor. I still have everything for sale but my reason for my original post was to find out fair pricing for a swap meet coming up here in Duluth. I think that I'll try to sell everything there first. I never did get an answer to what a fair market price is but I guess I can use ebay and craigslist as guides. If I have anything left I'll repost it here. Thanks for everyone's interest and I'm sorry for the hassle. gunflint
