What the Pho?

Postby FJ540 on Sun Jun 30, 2013 11:28 pm

Who'd be interested in a monthly Pho meet up?

I'm thinking we rotate around the metro each month and try new places. I have no idea what kind of group size, and I have no idea how massive of take over we'd be for such venues, but I'm more than willing to make a couple phone calls and get a reservation 12x a year if needed.

We always have breakfast and lunch times for other meets, so how about making it an evening deal for this one? Leagues tend to be an issue regardless, but I'm pretty open to suggestions.

I'm in! Monday and Tuesday nights are my nights off.

In fifth grade we took a school trip to DC and ate at OCB 2 times a day for a week. I can't even drive by an OCB without losing my appetite anymore.

If we're talking about Pho I think a Vietnamese person should be involved and recommend a restaurant.

There are only two acceptable ones in my book. PHO CA Dao on University and iPho. I vote for Tuesday or Wednesday evenings. 5-6.

Actually I would if I didn't live on the opposite side of the state. I love most ethnic food and a not a picky eater in the least as long as it aint still movin on the plate. Sushi is probably my single exception. Not for lack of trying it, it's just not my thing.

As far as Pho goes I'd love to try it, but it's gonna take more than noodles for me to drive a 5 hour round trip. I don't care if they are the best noodles in the universe.

Tuesdays and Thursdays are Uspsa leagues. I don't know of any Wednesday leagues but that's just me..

With the way my 9mm ammo is I can only shoot one league anyways..
