Not trying to belittle what WOTHK has been doing, but after the initial contact with the restaurant to make sure they can meet the needs, then after that it, would seem that it would be just a phone call to reserve and then posting the breakfast here.
Again, I don't know what kind of commitment is needed to do this, but maybe if WOTHK could give some insight, one of the regulars would be more than happy to pick it up and do the duty for a year or two.
That's about all there's to it. I typically post a message here on the Forum the Monday before. On Thursday afternoon, I compile a count and email it to Pastrami Jack's. Assuming he acknowledges (which he usually does), I'm done. If he doesn't acknowledge the email, I'll call the restaurant sometime Friday and let them know how many I expect.
It's certainly not a lot of work, but frankly, I'm getting a little tired of doing it. Also, with the North Side breakfast the week before, attendance has been declining recently. If somebody else wants to take the reins, that would be great. I'll be glad to help them get started. If not ......
Thanks for the kind words, HammAR and JoeH!!
