January 2nd Saturday North Breakfast

Postby cmj685 on Sat Jan 01, 2011 7:45 am

After our first hiatus ever due to the terrible weather last month, come join us at the Old Country Buffet in Maplewood for the January breakfast, held every 2nd Saturday. This month that makes it January 8. We have lots of catching up to do! We start officially at 9:00 AM although you will always find early birds there already well before 9:00 AM! If you are new, we are the group with name tags on--HammAR always insists on that because he is just that kind of guy--sensitive and in touch with his feelings! We meet in the back banquet room. Concealed carry is preferred. PM me if any questions. And Happy New Year to all!

Isn't refusing to discuss things that might be bad form further evidence of the same?

Dam straight. Next time, the OCB pulls this kind of crap, I move we all bring camping equipment and cook our own breakfast in their lot.

I hear HammAR will be giving out hugs to all that attend. :rotf:

Considering the snow at the last two breakfast, I'm not going to jinx this one by committing to attend.

Guys and gals, just a reminder that this coming Saturday, Jan. 8, is the north breakfast. So set your alarms and get out of bed! And it actually looks like we aren't going to get another blizzard for the first time this winter! Should be clear sailing and no excuses for OCB to close up shop like last month.

My wife and I have just gotten news about the sudden and unexpected death of a very precious family friend, and it turns out that the funeral is Saturday morning at 10:00, so I will not be able to attend the breakfast. Would one of you senior guys who attends oversee the breakfast and be a liaison with OCB in case of any need? I will call there today and ensure that all is ready for us, but just in case. Thanks! I am gonna' miss that hug from HammAR but maybe next month?
