That's a little spendy, especially if one brings more than one long gun.

It's on par with most ranges....................
besides why do you need more than one gun or one bullet........ :D
All men are created equal....It's what they do from there that matters!.

I'm a cheapskate. Besides, right before opening day (the Friday before), we always go to the range in Granite Falls. It's free. Elk River would be quite handy for me because it's really close but I understand that it's a real bugger to get a membership there. (or maybe that's one of the other nearby ranges??) BTW, I rarely need more than five rounds to sight my shotgun in (slugs). If I shoot more than that, it's just because I want to. At $14/box of five, it gets real spendy real quick shooting those particular slugs.

The reason they charge per gun is some cheapskate a**holes would bring all of their buddies' guns to sight in and then their buddies wouldn't pay.

ERSC has no need for more members. They turn away over a hundred people every year. They consider this a minor fund raiser and a community service for those in the area.

Unlike other ranges, ERSC offers convenient parking, free assistance in scope mounting, bore sighting, covered shooting points, free target, use of members' spotting scopes and expertise.

Never thought about it, but the 25, 50, and 100 yard ranges are all quite accessible to wheelchairs.

Well, that's a sight better than Del-Tone/Luth Range up in St Cloud. I always got yelled at for parking even close to the ranges. They're not very "handicapped friendly".

But....... in reality, that question was being facetious, playing off another thread. :D
