Is this target shooting in a lane or is there movement/ multiple targets? I would be interested but don't know what it is like and don't want to get yelled at for showing up with a Glock 19 and not a race gun.

Your glock 19 would be a great choice for this type of shooting! A holster with 4 spare mags and mag holders and your all set!

4 spare mags as in 5 total and then 4 mag holders? Yowza...better revise my Christmas list.

With these gun games, there are good times and bad times to reload. PRS shoots Single Stack Maj or Production. So he has 8 or 10 rounds in each mag. Then he will reload every 6-8 (sometimes 10) shots.

I'd suggest getting the stuff he suggests. If you can't, come anyway and shoot Limited. You'll be able to fill your magazines and can even run them dry if need be. It's just important to get started.

Well honestly for the winter league 2 on your belt with one in your gun would be fine. If you wanted to continue into the summer you'll need four on your belt.

I have some double stack mag pouches you could barrow for your 1st match. That way you can see if you like the game before you spend all the cash.

I just scrolled through and didn't see anything, is there an update on the range? Any idea when the winter league might start?

Question / Suggestion for a course:

I've seen diagrams & YouTube vids of various IDPA USPSA courses and it's interesting to watch the videos of the course...

Do any START with 'Getting off the X' / retreat / backup / taking cover as the first move...

for instance the above scene...the timer goes off and the shooter draws...what if the timer went off and the first move was to 'back up and scoot to the right THEN fire?

I think it could be useful muscle memory...to counteract the natural reaction to freeze in place.

Just a suggestion.
