It was my first time shooting in an event like that last night.
My buddy Jason was right; I'll be back.

It's a pretty healthy amount of fun and nerves all mixed into 20 seconds of pure rush.

Tomorrow night is trophy night. Should be two fun/fast stages. Last of the indoor stuff until next September.
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

Yup! Trophies are ready, stages designed, everything's a go for tonight.

I'll do the results for tonight's match, even though it doesn't count, and send it, as well as the complete season's results, to the shooters on the e-mail list, and to Roger for posting on the BPR website.

Hope all of you can make it. With the exception of my little glitch, it's been a great season.

Mike, thanks so much for YOUR time & effort. It appears to be another success. Lots of new shooters have been bitten by the bug.

I am one of those new shooters bitten by the bug. I came into this season after the half way point. I have learned so much and had just a ton of fun. I am hoping to make it tonight. It all depends how my daughter's feeding tube change out goes.
Thank you Mike and everyone else for putting this on. I am already looking foward to next winter.

I would also like to say thanks to Mike for all the hard work him, Eric,Kevin and anyone else have put in this winter. This was my first year doing the winter league and I will for certain be back next winter. It was tons of fun.

Thanks,
Brad

Great stags tonight. Congrats to the trophy winners. I want to thank everyone that was involved for making these matches happen. I also want to thank everyone that gave me tips. I learned so much in just a few matches. I can’t wait until next fall when they start up again. Hopefully by the time these start up again the wife will be comfortable enough shooting that she will come with and shoot.

Well, the 16th Winter Practical Pistol League at the Burnsville Pistol Range is done. Those of you that provided me with your e-mail address should have the season and Trophy Night scores now.

I'd like to thank all of you that shot the matches this year. Without you, we wouldn't have a reason to have a "fun" league to shoot in the winter.

I'd also like to thank those that stepped up and helped with setup, teardown and as RO's. You kept it from being too much work for a couple of guys and it's much appreciated.

Also, thanks to Eric, Ron and Kev for putting the matches together. I think we had a good season in spite of "Murphy's Rules." :D Special kudos to Kev for running the matches while I've been laid-up. :thankyou:

And lastly, thanks to Roger for letting us use his range. Policing brass off of a concrete floor sure beats digging for it in snow!

Finally, please take a moment to let me know what you thought of this season. What did you like, dislike, want to see, or want to toss? If you aren't happy, there won't be any more matches! I promise to consider all suggestions! :lalala:

Take care, and I hope to see you at some of the summer matches.
Mike

A big THANK YOU! to Mike and Eric, Roger from BPR, and a bunch of others who's name I either didn't catch or forgot. While I could only attend the first five matches, it was a great time and outstanding learning experience talking with, and watching some very talented shooters.
Hope to see you next year,
Ed
