Done, are you going to be at the breakfast on Saturday? If so we can trade there or I can meet you somewhere.

Re: WTB or advice on headphones

I absolutely love my Dillon HP-1's. The Peltor Tac-6 and 7 are not bad either, but nothing like the Dillons.

Re: Blue Dot powder and 357 Magnum

for mid range practice stuff, what about 38 special? smaller case, easy to load. easy to keep the hunting and target stuff seperated... Just a thought.

Thats what I do, .38 for practice adn .357 for hunting/field.

Re: New pistol

The magazine release has to be pushed everytime you put a new magazine in, is this normal? I know on other 1911s I've handled, you could just push the magazine in, like on any other pistol, but wanted to know if this was some sort of design idea, or if I should have it looked at? Re: How old were you when you started shooting?

I cannot remember when I first fired a gun. It was in the very early 1960's though.

I was 3 or 4 and my great uncle had my brother and I down on the river bottoms at my grandfathers farm shooting .22 shorts out of an old Winchester .22 pump.

Re: Carry Permit

The standard advice is to call Marc Berris. http://www.berrislaw.com/contact.html +1 He is reasonable for what he does, a good lawyer is going to be expensive but the alternative may be more so. Marc is one of the best firearms lawyers in Minnesota, if I ever find myself in need of legal counsel he...

Re: Guns in Bars, I for one don't like it!

Any regulation imposed by an entity that you voluntarily patronize, ie... a shooting range or other business, can make any rules it wishes if you don't want to comply with their rules then go give your business to their competition. We make choices, I agree on the personal responsibility idea. We co...
