The problem is that it's settling down towards the house. In 2005 we had the whole foundation on that side of the house excavated, and the foundation...

Re: Shopping for Ammo at Wal-Mart

tizzo wrote:Long story so I can ask my question... what's the deal with locking up only the 9mm caliber? I had to be staring at that damn shelf for a good 5 minutes.

'Cause a Walm*A*Part employee needed their stash of 9mm and didn't want it sold out.

Re: Glock 34 -- Somebody Convince Me

As for choices, I'd go with the 17, more holsters, and if you don't mind holster choices sucking, go with Squib Joe's choice: 17L.

Re: Glock 34 -- Somebody Convince Me

Farmer, a 34C is ported. As Paul said:

Paul wrote:The top of the slide is cut out to drive weight and achieve better balance, but the barrel is not ported.

It's cut out to make the slide weigh the same as the slide on a 17, so that the same recoil spring may be used.

Thanks guys.

I appreciate it.

Kind of.

No problem. If you want a semi-auto, find an older Rem1100 or a really old Rem Mod. 58 Sportsman. (the later can be very reasonable if it's the more common 2 3/4" gun.)

Re: Advice needed for trap gun

Have you tried the action on an old Wingmaster? It's slick, very slick. The fit and finish of the internals and moving parts is what makes it a Wingmaster. I've got a Wingmaster and a 97' Express (The last year with a metal trigger group, now sold as the police magnum). They don't compare.

+1. Big bonus if you can find one with a 32" barrel and a fixed choke.

Save money and invest in O/U down the road. Need closer to a g-note to get into a good O/U that the wood to metal fit isn't crap.

Exactly.
