Re: Pot farm bust in Minnesota state park prompts safety warning

2) It'll get you in a world of hurt legally if you get caught with even one leaf , let alone a bud. Nah. Small amounts (less than 1.5 ounces) are a decriminalized petty misdemeanor. probably don't look to good on the background check for a carry permit... :? It's the same level of offence as a park...

Re: Would you sell your gun to this guy?

So if a guy is 20 years old and does not have a car, but wants an inexpensive handgun for home defense, what should he do? Chances are pretty good that if he's 20 years old and doesn't have a car, he's pretty broke and can't afford a home to defend, besides a shotgun rules the roost in the house. A...

That would be a good idea, even fun if a forum bird hunt never happened. And for many of us, a little practice with a firearm on the range never hurt anyone.

Depends on who's holding the target.

Re: Would you sell your gun to this guy?

There's no reason why the guy can't go get a permit to purchase restricted to EBR's to prove that he's not a prohibited persons.

As it stands, no, I wouldn't sell to him. (because who after all would want to part with an awesome hi-point)

Re: Ranges and NRA membership requirement.

I'm looking at places to go shoot and am seeing some that require NRA membership to join. I'm not thrilled with the NRA and am not interested in becoming a member. There are organizations I'm more comfortable supporting, like SAF and GOCRA. So, I'm wondering if there's a good reason for the NRA req...

After the show is done at 5pm, take a short drive to Burger Jones in UpTown and join a bunch of use for dinner and a good cause; helping out 1911fan's nephew who was caught in a nasty fire last week that left two of his friends dead and Alex with 3rd degree burns. http://www.facebook.com/event.php?e...
