Great job of getting this set up, Sam, and Kudos to the effen Gopher Folks for getting the horde fed. Well Done! Looking forward do the next one - those sausages were great!!
I had one for a while. Had the best "feel" of any gun I've ever had, but it had major feed problems! The trigger was pretty awful, too. I used Rip's solution.
What do you folks think about uncocking single-action .22's when you're done shooting for the day? That is, which is better for the gun - to leave the hammer cocked with tension on the springs, or to drop the hammer by pulling the trigger with an empty gun at the end of the, possibly damaging the fi...

I have fairly small hands, too. I have a Kahr CW-9 for my carry gun. The grip is about as small as they come! The same frame is available in .40 cal, if you want more oomph.

That's an excellent suggestion! I'll try it...
I've had one for years. Mine does not like some brands of ammo. (CCI if I remember correctly.) With other brands of ammo, it rarely malfunctions. I was using American Eagle ammo, I think. Haven't tried anything else yet. I was thinking of taking the gun down the Ahlman's for a "tune up." ...
I recently aquired the Model 41 I've been lusting over. A nice used one followed me home from Cabela's in Owatonna a few weeks ago. I took it to the range to try it out. Generally, it functions well, but not perfectly. It seems to have the same type and frequency of malfuctions are the basic run-of-...
Another possible location is Barnacle Bill's in Brooklyn Center at I-694 and Shingle Creek Parkway. They don't have a separate room, but there's a long bench seat along the rear wall, similar to what's at Pastrami Jack's. They could easily accomodate 20 of us. Their food is decent and reasonably pri...
