Not quite kitty litter. Lizard litter. Lizard.png Finer ground walnut than you get from the tumbler companies... does not get stuck in the primer hole so you can easily tumble after removing the primer. Such as to remove the lube after sizing and before you dump powder and seat the bullet. ;)

I agree with you. I can load and shoot 45 ACP for 10cents per with cast bullets. The hard spot is shooting with the little one. Trying to teach rifle skills with out a .22 is challenging. Rolling over to an air rifle.
I use all flavors of dies. I prefer the Dillon Carbide sizer dies with the spring loaded primer pin. If using a single stage press for pistol, I like the RCBS expander dies.
