Re: What are Trump/the Republicans going to do for gun rights?

atomic41 wrote:Bring back the Hearing Protection Act and National Reciprocity that Paul Ryan killed. If I'm not mistaken, Trump has said he would like to do that at rally speeches.

This would be nice but it probably conflicts with his tee time.

Obama vs McCain? Obama vs Romney? It’s only changed since 2016 for a pretty obvious reason.

Re: Harris Promises to TRAMPLE 2nd+4th Amendment Rights, Violate

As far as I know Harris and Trump will raise taxes. The Harris plan will increase taxes for corporations and people making over $400,000. People making that much can afford to pay more taxes, than the rest of the middle and lower class. Some of the tax breaks proposed by Trump would be limited to t...

Re: Harris Promises to TRAMPLE 2nd+4th Amendment Rights, Violate

Is this how you claim to not know what the 1st Amendment is? If I had the power to stop you from speaking your mind here as a private citizen, it would not be a violation of your 1st Amendment rights. The 1st Amendment protects you from the government suppressing your freedom of speech. The owner o...

Re: Harris Promises to TRAMPLE 2nd+4th Amendment Rights, Violate

The odds of the government taking away our rifles and handguns is far higher under Trump than Harris.

The democrats see what happened to the republicans when Roe v Wade was overturned. Their desire to step on that third rail is pretty much near zero. They would never consider a new AWB.

Re: MN Governor's Pheasant Hunting Opener - Not The Bee

The first thing a dictator does when he grabs power is to ban guns. Trump said he would be a dictator on day one. And use the military to "take care" of his enemies. It's really not that hard to see where our gun rights will go under Trump. Voting for Harris will do more to protect your gu...

Re: Surprising surge in gun onwership by Democrats

As a liberal gun owner, I’m amazed it took this long for people to realize that liberals love their guns just as much as conservatives. If this is the case, then why do their politicians continually try and ban firearms and access? Why do you continually support politicians who attack this right? R...

Re: Lasers-Opinions Please

I have a Lasermax installed in my Glock 19, and highly recommend it for a handgun. It replaces the guide rod so the gun maintains a nice clean look. The battery lasts a long time (5+ years). The benefit of it that surprised me the most was how effective it was as a training tool. You can see where y...

Re: MNGOC position on a bill in the MN house/senate

Hmmm I wasn’t able to find the official position posted. But then again, the site isn’t very mobile friendly so I didn’t spend a lot of time trying to track it down.

Unfortunate about your position though.

So no position until a bill is scheduled for a hearing? Makes sense.
