Re: 2 teens killed after allegedly breaking into home;

As a gun guy and such......I agree with shooting intruders and killing them.......but I cannot see sticking a gun up under a 17 year old wounded girls chin and delivering a "kill shot" ......once the threats (intruders ) were nuetralized (on the ground, unarmed and shot already)...... This...

Re: Buying my first Mosin

Here is my mosin that I put a scope on using the rear iron sight ......but not the cheapo add-on way. I actually tapped out the three pins holding that rear iron sight and that exposes a 3/8" dovetail that you can use to mount a scope on ....tight and right. It takes a weaver 3/8" to 5/8&q...

Re: Home defense gun for elderly parent

]I know of a handicapped, wheel chair bound, paraplegic that carries a smith & Wesson "governor" revolver. I have shot the gun at the range and it is a slick, very smooth, low recoil , nice shooting gun that takes .45 ammo or .410 birdshot shotgun shells. This would be a great option f...

Re: perfect holster for empty chamber carry

carrying with an empty chamber just sounds like a bad idea. .....I'd hate to get shot because the bad guys loaded their guns and I didn't ......that's the whole point of carrying a gun in the first place, to be able to use it in an emergency.

Re: Northern Rifleman LLC

It is deer season , give the man the benefit of the doubt. If you had such an urgent need to be coddled thru the sale, maybe you should have clarified that prior, in person or on the phone with your seller before sending the cash. Buying guns is something I'd personally have to do in person because ...

Re: Is now a good time to buy a gun?

I bought into the election year hype and the possibility of the gun ban goofballs getting more laws or restrictions soon .......so either way, I think it's always a great time to buy a new gun.

Re: Problems with armslist denizen

I've only sold one gun, a sig p250 pile of junk, on armslist ever......the buyer was clean as far as I could find out on mncriminals.com......it's a free criminal record lookup site for MN........and I asked for his drivers license for I.d. & he volunteered his permit to purchase.....That was go...

Sled bed snowmobile/atv trailer

$750
Tilt bed aluminum
8' 3" wide by 10' long
Fits two sleds or 4 wheelers
Guessing it is more than 10 years old, stored in garage since I bought it.
Solid wood
Solid frame
Weather checked tires , hold air perfectly. No leaks.

Overall I'd rate the trailer a 7 out of 10

Lowballers ignored.

Re: Guy won't sell rifle to me.....

I. Woulda sold it to you. But the seller has the right to refuse to anyone. Maybe he was worried about a problem with the gun and couldn't live with it injuring a kid? There are a number of things that turn a seller off......move on, millions,of other options out there. Consider the el cheapo mosin ...
